Who is it for?

Employees who have been nominated by their service to become an “Appointed Person” as described in the Approved Code of Practice of the Health and Safety (First Aid) Regulations 1981



Course content overview

  • knowing what to do in an emergency
  • how to undertake cardiopulmonary resuscitation
  • ways to control bleeding
  • treating an unconscious casualty
  • contents of a first aid box and their use

What you need to do before attending?

This course involves active participation and it is recommended that trousers or casual clothes are worn.
