If yes, the Fundamental Leadership programme is for you!
This programme is a fantastic development opportunity for you to enhance your personal effectiveness, build confidence in your role and gain an industry recognised management qualification.
What’s involved in the programme?
Fundamental Leadership consists of six modules, spread over eight days over a six month period and includes of mixture of:
- Case study’s
- Reflective practice
What qualifications are on offer?
Fundamental Leadership has three optional associated qualifications:
|CMI Level 3 Award in Principles of Management & Leadership |
(SCQF Level 5)
|CMI Level 3 Certificate in Principles of Management & Leadership |
(SCQF Level 5)
|SVQ Level 3 in Management |
(SCQF Level 7)
Cost of Qualifications
The cost of the qualification will be charged to your department and a budget code will need to be supplied. The expected duration of the qualification is 3-6 months for the CMI Award/Certificate and 12 months for the SVQ.
When is the programme running?
The next programme will run over the following dates:
- Introduction & Module 1 – Tuesday 4th & Wednesday 5th February 2020
- Module 2 – Tuesday 17th March 2020
- Module 3 – Wednesday 18th March 2020
- Module 4 – Wednesday 6th & Thursday 7th May 2020
- Module 5 – Wednesday 24th June 2020
- Module 6 – Thursday 25th June 2020
Participants are expected to attend all dates. The modules will run 9.30am – 4.30pm at the Edward Lawson Centre, Wishaw.

You must have your manager’s authorisation before signing up.
Please note – There is a waiting list for Fundamental Leadership. Once you are allocated a place, you will receive joining instructions confirming your place.
